O comunicado oficial foi feito em coletiva nesta sexta-feira (8/12), e anunciou o encerramento das atividades musicais como grupo, após a turnê que celebra os 40 anos de estrada. “O sentimento é de dever cumprido, é poder parar no melhor momento sem ter que justificar nada”, destaca Andreas Kisser em coletiva.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A última turnê da banda, batizada de <em>Celebrating Life Through Death</em>, terá duração de 18 meses, percorrerá 40 países e vai render um disco ao vivo da banda, com 40 canções registradas em cidades diferentes. No Brasil, foram anunciadas oito cidades, entre elas, Belo Horizonte, Juiz de Fora, Brasília, Uberlândia, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Florianópolis e São Paulo.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="/app/noticia/diversao-e-arte/2020/02/12/interna_diversao_arte,827757/banda-sepultura-aposta-em-um-disco-conceitual-no-novo-quadra.shtml" target="_self">Andreas Kisser</a>, guitarrista da banda, comenta sobre percorrer 40 países com a turnê e se há dificuldade de levar o som do grupo para outros países. “Independentemente da religião e da política do país, a música e principalmente o heavy metal é muito popular e milhões de pessoas pelo mundo esse som”, declara o artista.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Criado em 1984 pelos irmãos Max e Igor Cavalera, em Belo Horizonte, o Sepultura, em quase quatro décadas de carreira, se tornou referência do metal e o maior representante do gênero no país. A banda se destacou pela mistura do som pesado com elementos de música tribal, indígena, africana, entre outros estilos.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">O reconhecimento internacional veio principalmente a partir do disco <em>Roots</em>, lançado em 1996, com a colaboração de Carlinhos Brown. O álbum foi o último com a participação de Max Cavalera, antigo vocalista, que anunciou a saída da banda no mesmo ano. O irmão, o baterista Igor Cavalera, se desligou também 10 anos depois.<br /></p>

O comunicado oficial foi feito em coletiva nesta sexta-feira (8/12), e anunciou o encerramento das atividades musicais como grupo, após a turnê que celebra os 40 anos de estrada. “O sentimento é de dever cumprido, é poder parar no melhor momento sem ter que justificar nada”, destaca Andreas Kisser em coletiva.
A última turnê da banda, batizada de Celebrating Life Through Death , terá duração de 18 meses, percorrerá 40 países e vai render um disco ao vivo da banda, com 40 canções registradas em cidades diferentes. No Brasil, foram anunciadas oito cidades, entre elas, Belo Horizonte, Juiz de Fora, Brasília, Uberlândia, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Florianópolis e São Paulo.
Andreas Kisser , guitarrista da banda, comenta sobre percorrer 40 países com a turnê e se há dificuldade de levar o som do grupo para outros países. “Independentemente da religião e da política do país, a música e principalmente o heavy metal é muito popular e milhões de pessoas pelo mundo esse som”, declara o artista.
Criado em 1984 pelos irmãos Max e Igor Cavalera, em Belo Horizonte, o Sepultura, em quase quatro décadas de carreira, se tornou referência do metal e o maior representante do gênero no país. A banda se destacou pela mistura do som pesado com elementos de música tribal, indígena, africana, entre outros estilos.
O reconhecimento internacional veio principalmente a partir do disco Roots , lançado em 1996, com a colaboração de Carlinhos Brown. O álbum foi o último com a participação de Max Cavalera, antigo vocalista, que anunciou a saída da banda no mesmo ano. O irmão, o baterista Igor Cavalera, se desligou também 10 anos depois.
